Quick Overview

Fossil Coral is pre-historic coral that has become stone. It is however workable with regular tooling & does not require lapidary equipment and is 100% stable. One tip that we recommend is after the initial shaping, seal the surface with super-glue, let dry, final sand, repeat if necessary, and polish. Because the material is porous, the super glue helps to seal the exterior, and makes the buffing process much easier as buffing compound is difficult to remove from pores. It is an extra step that is well worth the extra time. Sold by the pair.
