Since the 1980’s, we have worked hard to expand the process of coloring bone and jigging bone. In many circumstances, colors and patterns have literally had to be reinvented. Over the years we’ve nearly perfected this art and are proud to offer a wide array of color and pattern combinations, most of which are made here in the USA. The challenge is and will remain to provide consistency from order to order, dye lot after dye lot and year after year. We try to only offer colors and patterns that are consistent and repeatable.
Please be aware that some colors of the dyed bone (hunter green, amber, mahogany and other dark colors) may appear black upon receipt. Rest assured that our dye process is very comprehensive and meant to be as dark as possible so bone and stag usually have to be sanded and/or polished in order to achieve the desired color. Photos of the pieces shown have been sanded to show color for the finished product.
